About This Video
The 2026 BET Awards delivered another viral moment as Claressa Shields and Papoose were seen attending the event together, instantly drawing attention across social media.
While many fans celebrated seeing the couple on the red carpet, online conversation quickly shifted away from the event itself. Instead, countless users began commenting on Papoose's serious facial expression, with some joking that he looked completely unimpressed despite being surrounded by one of the night's biggest celebrations.
Claressa Shields appeared to take the online chatter in stride, responding to comments about Papoose's expression and fueling even more discussion. As screenshots, clips, and memes spread across social media, the pair became one of the evening's most talked-about topics.
As expected, opinions were split. Some viewers argued that people were reading too much into a single facial expression, pointing out that not everyone smiles constantly while attending public events. Others couldn't resist creating jokes and memes, suggesting Papoose looked like he had somewhere else to be.
Whether his expression reflected concentration, fatigue, or simply a neutral look, one thing became clear: a few seconds on camera were enough to dominate timelines long after the awards show ended.
In today's social media landscape, even the smallest moment can become headline material, and Claressa Shields and Papoose once again proved that celebrity appearances often generate just as much conversation online as the awards themselves.
